World-Class Windsurf Instructor, Caesar Finies
Caesar Finies is a Bonaire-based pro windsurfer and pioneer of light-wind flowstyle, credited with the Hail Mary “Caesar Throw.” A longtime Lac Bay local, he helped put Bonaire's freestyle scene on the map and remains one of the sport's most recognized stylists.

A shallow, reef-protected lagoon with steady cross-shore trades. Arguably the most forgiving learning environment in windsurfing.
Consistent Trade Winds
Lac Bay's NE trades blow 15–25 knots, side-onshore, most of the year, so you can sail almost daily and progress fast.
Warm, Waist-Deep Water
Sandy bottom and knee-to-waist depth for hundreds of meters. The reef blocks swell, creating a safe learning lane with minimal chop.
Flat Water, Big Playground
Butter-flat inside the bay for drills. Tons of open space and no boat traffic, so everyone has room to ride.
Beach-Side Setup
